Charlie USG

Charlie USG is a self-made artist. Following the pandemic lockdown period, the 15-year old singer decided to hit the streets to try his luck in music. Every Friday for more than 3 years, Charlie USG stood on the same corner of Madrid’s Gran Vía armed with just a speaker and a guitar to sing covers of well-known Spanish songs. Little by little, he became a Gran Vía staple, so much so that each week he would be surrounded by dozens of people stopping to listen to him and enjoy his concerts. Charlie was able to bring together people of all ages, creating a solid fan base that would join him every Friday.

His covers became increasingly talked about, and began drawing the attention of industry professionals like Marlon or Lola Índigo. Cepeda even invited him to sing at one of his concerts. After being signed by Warner Music and Get In, Charlie started writing his own music. In April 2022, he released his first original song, ‘Gran Vía 82’, which pays tribute to his musical beginnings on Madrid’s high street. His gravelly voice, talent, freshness, charisma, and desire to take over the world has made him the perfect next generation of Spanish pop. Charlie USG is here to stay.
